MFF Community Fridge

Marsh Farm Futures

Aimed at reducing food waste, the community fridge is free and open to anyone (over 16) within the community. Donations are sourced from local food businesses and include surplus food and close to expiration food. The fridge aims to save this would-be-waste from landfills and get it into peoples’ homes and ultimately their bellies! To use the fridge, you must first register as a member, you will need to provide proof of your address and a form of ID (bank card, bus pass, passport, driving licence). You can register as a member at Futures House reception during our opening times and once registered can turn up to make use of it between these opening times, depending on food donations and what the level of availability will be. Updates will be provided regularly via the Facebook page. To donate you MUST be a registered food business, although donations of pantry items (for example cans, cereals, and pasta) are now being accepted from individuals. We are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:30pm.
