Luton Libraries are open to the public to join and make use of our building resources. This includes books, PC’s, photocopying and more. We also host regular activities across all our branches for all ages and abilities to join in with.
Specific activities taking place in the library, together with any charges as necessary, are listed below.
On Mondays from 10:30am to 11:15am a session entitled Mindful Stretch, for which participants are required to pay £3 each session.
On Mondays from 4pm to 4:45pm Library Games for children aged 8 years and above.
On Tuesdays from 10am to 10:30am Rhyme Time for pre school age children.
On Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 5pm Real Play for children aged between 5 and 7 years.
On Thursdays from 10am to 10:30am Rhyme Time for pre school age children.
On the first Thursday of each month a Reading Group for adults takes place starting at 2pm.
On Fridays from 10:30am to 11:15am a session entitled Mindful Yoga, for which participants are required to pay £3 each session.
On Fridays from 1pm to 2pm Creative Arts, this is for adults only and participants are required to book in advance.
On Saturdays (in term time only) from 11am to 12 noon Code Club for children aged between 8 and 12 years.
On Sundays from 11:30am to 12 noon Rhyme Time for pre school age children.
Please note that warm drinks/refreshments are not provided by libraries. Members of the public are welcome to bring in their own tea/coffee flasks etc. from elsewhere though.
